An error in the Monumental Inscription for a grave at Pecket Well Crimsworth Methodists (B/F12) has been reported:
Alice ASHWORTH listed should be Alice WADSWORTH
All online indexes and Databases have now been corrected.
An error has been reported for the baptisms for this church. It is:
BUTTERWORTH – Richard on 26 December 1793
It should read:
BUTTERWORTH – Simeon on 26 December 1793 Son of John and Ann Butterworth
This has been confirmed in the Censuses as the original document that was transcribed was very faint and was very difficult to read.
The Transcription Index and the Databases have been changed to reflect this change.

An error has been found on the inscription of James Highley – Grave No K36. His age should be 28 not 78.
An error has been discovered in our Transcription of an entry in the 1851 census. The entry for Emmen Smith of Northowram, a farmer of 7 acres, should be shown as a 71 year-old female widow, rather than a 71 year old male widower. We apologise for this error.

We have been advised of 2 errors on a Monumental Inscription for the Halstead grave. “Hiram” was incorrectly shown as “Ivor” & Leah’s age was shown as 26 instead of 86. The correct entry should read :-
HIRAM HALSTEAD, died April 13th 1901. aged 72 years. Also LEAH HALSTEAD, who died March 9th 1916, aged 86 years.
