How to Join.

You can join as an individual or as a joint member (normally another person living at the same address)

To join over the Internet through GENfair, follow the links to Calderdale Family History Society and then “Membership” – this is especially useful for Overseas members as you can pay in local currency (the Society can only accept Sterling Cheques.)

To join by post, please complete a Membership Form. The form has details of subscriptions and where to apply.

GDPR.

Using either method requires you to agree to our Society holding some of your personal details & explaining to you what we use it for.

If joining via Genfair, you will be required to tick your acceptance to the terms as displayed on our section of their website.

If joining via a completed Application Form, please read the GDPR details at the foot of the form.   By signing the form you are accepting these terms.

Application Form.

There are two formats for the membership form. Please choose the one best suited to your computer system (note that the pdf will be displayed and the word document is downloaded)

Subscription Rates.

Annual subscriptions are £12.00 for individuals and £14.00 for family membership – Overseas rate is £17.00 for a renewal of subscription only.

Internet subscriptions are £6.00 for individuals and £8.00 for family membership. These are the only membership options open for new overseas subscriptions. Please note – “The Scrivener” magazine is only available via the Internet or E-Mail with this subscription.

Please note that you will be unable to access the Members’ Area of this website until you have joined the Society.   Once your application has been accepted, you will receive a username & password which will give you access to the Members’ Area.
