All our Society publications on CDs or downloads are structured in the same way, so once you know how to use one publication, you will be familiar with all of them.
Here, we are showing a typical publication, as you would get it, so that you can see how easy it is to use. There are a few minor differences between this sample publication & the “real thing”.
- The data is given in groups of starting initials or dates. On this sample, only the first group (i.e. A-F) has a few pages of data. On the “real thing” each group runs to over 200 pages.
- Because of the small amount of data given here, there are no “bookmarks” on the files. On the “real thing” the data is bookmarked every 20 pages, for ease of use.
- To use both this demonstration and the “real thing” you need to have Adobe Reader installed. This is normally included when you purchase your computer. If not, it can be downloaded free of charge from www.adobe.com Without Adobe Reader, the demonstration will still work, but not properly.
- This demonstration will work in most browsers. You need to enable pop-ups from www.cfhsweb.com However, some browsers may make this sample operate in a slightly different fashion. The “real thing” works in the same way under all browsers.
